The Scum Bag- Features Roadrunner and was written by Rod Welles for Jim S @ Southbay Amps Works, makers of the amazing Scumbag speakers. Scumback H75 speakers are used on all Rod's recordings.

All the clips were recorded without any effects and were performed by Rod Welles. During each clip Rod used only his guitar to switch pickups and adjust the guitar controls to alter he tones, no amp control adjustments were changed during the clips. This was done to illustrate the versatile textures you can obtain simply with your guitar.

- No Pedals, Effects or Outboard Gear/EQ was used for the recordings
- 2 microphones were used:
- Sennheiser E609 - close proximity
- V-Tech VTND3 condenser - room
- Mic panning as follows: E609 @ 10 o'clock & V-Tech @ 2 o'clock
- Amps were run thru a 1x12 cabinet load with a Scumback H75 speaker.
- Clips were recording with a Fostex VF160
- Strat clips were played on a Warmoth Strat with GFS pickups
- Les Paul clips were played on a Gibson Les Paul R8 with Wolfetone Marshallhead pickups
